What Kampek protects

The weakest point of a pipe is the joint. That is where corrosion starts.

Damage almost always starts at the joint, or wherever the steel is left bare, whether the line carries district heating, gas or an industrial process. Kampek supplies the protection for exactly those points. The product families split into two jobs.

Job 1: Joint sealing

Sealing the joint casing of pre‑insulated district heating and cooling pipes. The joint stays dry, and the insulation stays dry for the service life of the pipe.

Is blasting required?
No blasting is needed to apply Stopaq. Wire brushing to cleanliness grade St 2 is enough, and no primer is used. This speeds up the work on site and works even in tight excavations.
Can the protection be applied to a pipe that is in service?
Yes. Stopaq is applied cold by hand, so the pipe can usually stay in service during the work. We confirm the right procedure for the site, so call us and we will look at it together.
Do you deliver across all of Finland?
We deliver throughout Finland from the Tuusula warehouse. The most common items are in stock. We confirm the exact delivery time with the quote, based on the project and quantity.
